Foster's & Priced Right

Refund Policy

At Foster’s Supermarket and Priced Right, our goal is to provide quality products at affordable prices. However, the reality is that every now and then, a return is necessary. When that happens, we will gladly replace any unsatisfactory product; all you must do is return the item to the store nearest you with your receipt.

If a replacement or refund is requested: 

  • An original register receipt is required for all replacements and refunds.
  • Items purchased at a Foster’s Supermarket location may be returned to any Foster’s Supermarket location. Items purchased at a Priced Right location may be returned to any Priced Right location.
  • Refunds will be given in the same form as payment was made (cash for cash, debit card for debit card, and credit card for credit card). 
  • Store Management reserves the right to deny any replacement or refund based on their discretion.

Refund Policy at Foster’s Supermarket Locations

  • Replacements and refunds on non-perishable products will be accepted within 14 days of purchase when accompanied by an original receipt and the product.
  • Replacements and refunds on perishable products will be accepted within 3 days of purchase when accompanied by an original receipt and the product.  

Refund Policy at Priced Right Locations (effective on purchases made on or after 21 December 2020)

  • Replacements and refunds on products except perishable and electronics will be accepted within 14 days of purchase when accompanied by an original receipt and the product.
  • Replacements and refunds on perishable products will be accepted within 3 days of purchase when accompanied by an original receipt and the product.  
  • Replacements and refunds on electronic products will be accepted within 30 days of purchase when accompanied by an original receipt and the product. We require 3 working days to check electronic/electric merchandise before we refund or replace it.
    • Electronic products include, but are not limited to, televisions, laptops, tablets, speakers, boomboxes, and similar products.
    • The following products are not considered electronic products are subject to our 14-day refund policy. Exclusions include, but are not limited to, toys, drones, electric or motorized vehicles, and similar products.
  • All merchandise must be complete and in its original package as it was when purchased.
  • Damaged or altered merchandise will not be refunded.
  • Textile products, washed, used, or altered, will not be refunded.
  • Undergarments will not be refunded.

Refund Policy at Foster’s Go! Online Shopping (effective on purchases made on or after 1 May 2021)

  • We temporarily authorize your card for the higher of $5 or 50% of the item total. It helps account for the cost of items sold by weight, and any other price variations that occur at the time of check out. As soon as your order is complete, we charge your card for exactly what was in your final order. Your bank will automatically clear the provisional hold within seven days. 
  • Should a partial or full refund be required for item(s) in your order, Foster’s will action the refund within three (3) business days. Your bank will then process and clear the refund (timing varies by bank, and may take up to seven (7) days). For our full refund, returns, and cancellation policy, please click here.
