AFFECTED

Foster’s Supermarket would like to announce that Waitrose & Partners is voluntarily recalling two lines of Waitrose Ambient Pestos, the Waitrose Basil Pesto (Green) and Waitrose Red Tomato Pesto, due to an undeclared allergen-peanut- on the product labels.

The affected products are Waitrose Basil Pesto, 190 gram with UPC:05000169055472  and Waitrose Tomato Pesto, 190 gram with UPC:05000169055489. Waitrose is advising all customers who have an allergy to peanuts not to consume the products.

Foster’s does carry the affected Waitrose Pesto products and has been affected by this recall. All the affected products have been removed from our shelves.

 

 

 

 

No other Waitrose branded product is included within this recall.

Customers should check the UPC’s on Waitrose branded products at homes to be sure none of the affected product has been purchased. We encourage all customers who have purchased this product from any of our Foster’s locations to return the affected product for a full refund. Please discontinue use of any affected product
