Foster’s Food Fair – IGA would like to announce that Oriental Packing Co., Inc., Miami, Florida is recalling approximately 377,000 lbs. of the following blended seasoning curry products because it is contaminated with lead. Lead can accumulate in the body over time and can cause serious and sometimes permanent adverse health consequences.

As a result of this recall, Tastee Limited is affected as they make use of the blended seasoning curry products in the production of their patties.

We do not have any of the affected seasoning blends; however we have been notified that Tastee Chicken Curry Patties (available in the deli & frozen sections) are affected by this recall. All products have been removed from our shelves.

We do encourage customers who have purchased any of the Tastee Chicken Curry Patties from any of our Foster’s Food Fair – IGA, Priced Right or Bay Market locations, to please discontinue consumption, and return for a full refund. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
