‘S. Martinelli & Company’ Issues Martinelli Apple Juice Recall

S Martinelli & Company is issuing a voluntary recall of a single lot of Martinelli’s (4/10-oz.) glass bottles of “Apple Juice”, due to the potential for this product to contain elevated levels of patulin, a naturally occurring substance produced by molds that may grow in apples. Long-term exposure from drinking apple juice containing elevated levels of patulin could cause nausea, vomiting, and possible other health impacts.
Only one specific lot of the 4/10-oz. bottles of Martinelli’s Apple Juice are affected by this recall.
The recalled products have a “Best By” date of 05DEC2026 on the glass bottle with a retail UPC# 0 41244 64102 4.
The product was shipped between December 15, 2023, and April 9, 2024.

No other Martinelli products or sell units are included in this recall.
No illness or any adverse reaction have been reported to date in connection with this issue.
