The Foster’s Annual 800m sea swim has been a part of the Cayman Open Water Swimming calendar since 1984 and attracts a wide variety of participants – competitive and non–competitive swimmers of all ages and abilities. The event is sponsored by Foster’s who are long time supporters of Cayman Open Water Swimming. 

On Saturday October 10th, Foster’s held their 36th Annual 800m Sea Swim. Even after a long strange year, the community was out in full support with 84 swimmers competing in the 800m and six young up and coming swimmers competing in the 400m

Lauren Hew placed first overall in a time of 12:38, Jake Bailey (Stingray Swim Club) second in 12:38 and Harper Barrowman (Seven Mile Swimmers) third in 12:40.
