Exercises without the Gym
Gym’s aren’t for everyone. Some find them intimidating, and others prefer exercising outside in the fresh air. To help, here are five exercises that only need you and gravity to give your the work out you need!
Stairs
If you can find a set of stairs, you can achieve a complete lower body workout in just 30 minutes! Running up a set of stairs is a high-intensity workout that targets every muscle in your lower body, including hips, calves, glutes and quads. Oh! and it also burns a lot of calories!
Squats
Looking for a great workout without leaving the house? Squats are a great option, all you need is your own body weight! Squats help tone your thighs and glutes but also improve your posture, circulation and digestion. Want to add an extra element? Grab some weights to boost your workout!
Jogging
Running, Jogging or walking are great, affordable ways to improve your overall health. Plus you can do it wherever and whenever you want! Jogging strengthens your heart and legs, tones your muscles and burns calories. Need some extra motivation? Join a community running group or take to jogging along Seven Mile Beach and lose yourself amongst the ocean breeze.
Yoga
