Back To School: 5 Step Meal Prep Guide
The school year is about to begin, it’s time to start meal prepping! Want to avoid the last-minute rush every morning? Don’t worry, we’ve got some tips and ideas for you to make this task a whole lot easier.
Side Note: Meal Prepping can be super fun, easy, and inexpensive when done right.
1. Get a Meal Prep Container Set
You’re going to – at least – need a container set that lasts your kids for the school week coming up. There are 5 days in the week – you do the math!
2. Make a Weekly Meal Prep Schedule – Get Innovative
When meal prepping, you must use perishable ingredients for the early days and leave ‘stay fresh’ options for later in the week.
Alternatively, meal preppers can make a family-sized dish that’s able to stay fresh throughout the week – such as Lasagna. The leftovers of these meals can be used for meal prep as well until finished…but where’s the fun in that?
If you love food as much as we do, put yourself up to the challenge!
